"Warble Reader" is a TextToSpeech Reader for my novel "the Wacky Misadventures of Warble McGorkle". As each speaker changes (e.g. Narrator, Warble, Mary, etc.), a different voice is used. There are approximately 40 different voices used throughout. "Warble" seems to be more relevant now (late 2003) than when I first wrote it a year ago (for one thing, the 2004 US Presidential election is covered, in which Warble runs, with his wife Mary running as Vice President). "tWMoWM" is basically a satirical look at modern society, particularly in the USA. It contains uncounted references to American history and culture--the more you know about these, the more you will "get it". Warble is a paranoid know-it-all megalomaniac. He and his long-suffering wife Mary travel across the United States (Wisconsin to Louisiana to Ohio to Florida to New York to Oklahoma to Montana to California to Idaho, back to Wisconsin, then to Washington DC, and finally...) pursuing dreams and being pursued, or so Warble thinks, by a variety of enemies. tWMoWM traces its literary lineage back to books such as "Don Quixote", "Huck Finn", and "A Confederacy of Dunces". You must have SAPI installed to run this application.
