AZ Paint Pro, Icon Editor & Animated GIF Editor description
AZ Paint Pro is a graphics application combining (i) Icon Editor, (ii) Animated GIF Editor
and (iii) Paint in a single program. It possesses niche of features and capabilities far beyond what an ordinary paint program or a mere icon editor can provide.
The program is most suitable for power users. One can use it as a professional Icon Editor to create or edit Windows icons and cursors of any size and color depth, one can also use it as a full-featured Animated GIF Editor to render, extract, modify or build animated GIF files. Furthermore, the program provides all the basic and advanced graphics tools and filters such as Icon Alpha Channel editing, Bezier curve and antialiased line drawing, etc. to originate
or fine-tune quality images in a variety of native file formats. The program allows users to switch between the many different file formats in the same work session, thus gaining all the manoeuvrability of Paint, Icon Editor and Animated GIF Editor operations.
The program allows free conversion between different file formats such as BMP, JPG,GIF, PNG, TIFF, TGA, PCX, ICO, CUR, WMF and EMF; it also provides import from ANI, AVI and MNG.
This is a prudent product; as it does not use any ActiveX or PlugIn, and it will never meddle with users' Windows registry. Moreover, the program does not engage complicated procedural requirements, nor it requires users to download additional files.
There is an in-built flexibility in the program to cater to a variety of needs, e.g.one can opt for Single or Multi-Document Interface; directly edit or convert XP/Vista 32-bit icons, change icons
embodied in EXE files, retrieve icons from both ICL and DLL Icon Libraries, full ICL Icon Library Builder, superimpose angled text on animated GIF, preserve EXIF data on saving digital photo files, browse to load or slide show, etc. In addition, free supplement covers special aspects unique to MNG/PNG, e.g. it enables you to view and extract frames of MNG and it provides full alpha channel editing capabilities to create/edit/view alpha values directly on a magnified and grided screen.
