TWAINCommander is a utility for command line scanning from any TWAIN device (scanner, web camera, MFP,...) into an image file. TWAINCommander runs under Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, ME and XP. It can create JPEG, TIFF (even multipage)or Bitmap files. And it is so simple. Just call e.g. TWAINCOM c:myfilesmypic.jpg and TWAINCommander scans the image into a file. TWAINCommander supports also batch scanning and is a great productivity tool. Ideal for medical, juristic, industrial or office automation applications. But TWAINCommander can not only run from the DOS prompt. It can also be executed from applications. Nothing easier than call a Shell command from a C, VisualBasic, Delphi or PowerBuilder applications. Even from HTML it is possible to access local (client) TWAIN devices like scanners or web cams via two lines of VBScript code. That makes TWAINCommander also interesting for software developers and web designers. This is the Single Desk License. There is also a Developer/Corporate License available
