TrustPort Internet Gateway and WebFilter description
TrustPort Internet Gateway is an effective modular software solution that protects computer networks against unwanted emails and harmful attacks of malicious code found both in email and on the Internet directly at the point of entry. The solution is optimized to handle large amounts of data transmissions typical of company networks.
Protection against viruses - automatically removes the danger of a virus infection at the level of the Internet gateway. It eliminates worms, viruses and
other harmful code that spread via web pages or via email. It screens all files coming from the Internet before they arrive at a user’s workstation.
Elimination of SPAM - it examines all emails and eliminates all undesirable email
messages. This is achieved by standard methods of detecting spam – Graylisting, bayesian analysis, regular expressions etc. Additionally there are also unique technologies implemented for detecting image spam – Matrix twins and detection of spam by the sender’s IP address – Reputation services.
TrustPort WebFilter introduces an effective way to manage access to the Internet, which is performed by effectively blocking unsuitable web pages and barring individual web pages by checking their content.
