MyCleanDesktop is a icon organizer / application launcher program for the windows desktop. MCD allows you to store your desktop shortcuts and files in categorized mini-desktops that are accessible with a mouse click and close automatically. MCD also includes several other handy features such as a calendar, stickynote like notes, mp3 player with playlist editor, and system monitors. Now with MCD you can turn your desktop into the clean organized workspace it was meant to be.
Features: program launcher windows:
Think of these as miniature desktops that can organize all of those icons on your main desktop into categorized folders. To launch a program or open a file just click the button for the category that you want and click the icon to open the file or program .The launcher window will close for you automatically. You can set the time for it to stay open on seconds
Calendar:
MyCleanDesktop features a calendar that can be switched from month to week view. The current day will have a gold bar over it so it is always easy to locate. The calendar will display your appointments or task along with a stop and start time. You can add/delete entries with a few mouse clicks.
Notes:
The Notes feature is a simple text editor that allows you to quickly leave a note for a friend, a co-worker or use it to take down information for later use. Notes can be saved for later and opened notes will reappear if MyCleanDesktop is shut down then restarted.
MP3 Player:
The MP3 player will allow you to play single mp3 files on your computer or you can use the playlist editor to create a playlist of all the songs in a folder and load it to play multiple songs. The volume control functions as the master volume for the computer when MyCleanDesktop is running so you will always have easy access to the computer's volume .
Clock:
A easy to read digital clock.
System monitors:
MyCleanDesktop has a CPU monitor and a memory monitor.
