The Codex screen saver is similar to the popular "Matrix" movie screen saver, but was inspired by ancient Biblical manuscripts. Fascinating to watch, lots of options, and with real manuscript look-and-feel, its sure to be a favorite. Its the screen saver the apostle Paul would have used!
Codex is highly customizable. Features include:
- Choose from Hebrew, Greek, Old English, Tech English and/or Japanese characters
- Enable/disable horizontal and/or vertical letter-flipping
- Enable/disable integration of popular scriptural phrases and/or your own phrases into the display
- Choose the default scriptural phrases and/or your own phrases
- Choose horizontal and/or vertical phrases
- Enable/disable phrase highlighting
- Choose which English font (Old or Tech) to use for phrases
- Choose frequency of phrases
- Choose how long phrases are preserved before being overwritten
- Choose between 20 color schemes:
- "Manuscript" (black on parchment)
- "Matrix Classic" (green on black)
- "Armageddon" (red on black)
- "Midnight Walk" (blue on black)
- "Christmas Eve" (red/green on black)
- "Into the Deep" (blue/green on black)

- "Cotton Candy" (pink on white)
- "Ice Cave" (cyan on black)
- "Gold Mine" (yellow on black)
- "Neon Street" (pink/cyan on black)

- "Rolex" (yellow/cyan on black)
- "Shamrock Shake" (green on white)
- "Oh Canada!" (red on white)
- "Blueberry Sundae" (blue on white)

- "Surprise Me" option in color schemes, which picks a random color scheme
- Choose horizontal or vertical run modes
- Choose from multiple video resolutions and color depths, including whatever the current one is
