MapRoamer description
A browser to access interactive maps and satellite images (stored at www.maproamer.com) through the Internet. Navigation utilities include: 1:10 zoom-in, location name index, object name index, long/lat coordinate display etc. Click on a symbol on the map backgrounds to view pop-up information and photographs. Database technology enables very large images to be accessed WITH OUT image file storage on local hard drive. Popular Maps/RS images: Blue Marble(global satellite imagery), Maps of China, Toronto, Beijing, Shanghai.
