RAMBoss is a small, yet effective utility for freeing up system RAM (Random Access Memory) on Windows 95/98 -systems. Also should work on other systems such as Win2000 or XP, but you'll get most out of it on 9x.
Why use RAMBoss? The way that Windows treats memory (at least in 9x-systems) is not very good, and sooner or later the system will most probably crash. You can use RAMBoss to keep your system up and running for lot's of longer times than without.
RAMBoss is not fullfilled with any extra-features like graphics showing CPU-usage/RAM-usage, it just does what it has to do.
Compared to RamBooster, which has very low CPU-usage, RAMBoss has 50% lower usage, and _a lot_ lower system resources usage!
How is this possible? RAMBoss was written totally in Win32 Assembly, making it possible to create small, fast, and very useful applications for the whole Windows productfamily.
